The Company and the Role:
The Company is a global player in the world of international financial services.
Established for over 20 years, with their head office in the UAE and additional offices in Asia and Europe, the company provides wealth management and an array of financial services products. As part of their expansion plans they are now seeking experienced Wealth Managers to join their team based in Dubai, UAE.
These positions represent truly outstanding and exciting opportunities with a leading player and the opportunity to start a new life in a safe vibrant city. The positions are permanent.
You will provide independent financial advice and sell financial services, such as provisions for savings plans, lump sum investments and life insurance by building relationships with existing and prospective clients.
You will be responsible for building relationships with existing and prospective clients, to provide independent financial advice.
Key Features of the Role:
You will develop leads and referrals from current clients and seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
You will contact prospective clients to present information and explain available services referrals and attract new clients through telesales.
You will interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs and to discuss any existing coverage and develop and hold client presentations, events and seminars.
You will service and deliver financial planning to targeted clients a goals based investment and financial plan and evaluate and discuss options to meet client financial goals.
You will discuss estate planning and work with internal and external resources to meet estate planning goals of the client and promote established investment models and strategies that are suitable for targeted clients
You will consult with attorneys, accountants and other advisors on financial, tax and estate planning.
You will establish client investment objectives including risk tolerance, asset allocation and cash requirements and translate investment policy to individual investment objectives.
You will explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance and savings plans, present alternative investment ideas to clients and customise insurance plans to suit individual clients often covering a variety of risks.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Wealth Manager or Independent Financial Advisor, ideally degree qualified or have a financial qualification i.e. CFA, CFP, CII or CISI qualification.
You will be self-motivated and at home in a target orientated environment.
You should have exceptional interpersonal, influencing and communication skills able to form lasting relationships with high net worth individuals.
Be able to coach and mentor a Business Development Manager and/or Associate Wealth Manager (if applicable)
