Ty Cwm Rhondda is a 20-bed low secure mental health facility offering high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for men with complex mental health needs, serious mental illness including treatment-resistant presentations and challenging behaviour.        

Brief Outline of the Role

To provide a high profile, visible operational/clinical  leadership to the ward nursing team. To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors. To ensure that standards of patient care are maintained at all times within the parameters of operational  policies and governing legislation.

Qualifications

  • RMN/RMNH/RNLD

Experience

  • Relevant sufficient post registration experience.
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management skills.
