Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Roehampton offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 100 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services.

Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

To be considered for this role you need to be flexible, enthusiastic and self motivated with a minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare.

Person specification:

  • NVQ Level 2, equivalent or above or be willing to progress towards taking NVQ Level 2
  • Proven competency in CPA meetings and ward rounds
  • Fully compliant with mandatory training and Foundations for Growth
  • To be, or to become, an internal trainer for mandatory staff training.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of patient care plans
  • Co-run groups with OT/OTA
  • Supervise and mentor other HCAs
  • To undertake specific tasks as stated
  • To be willing to source further training to improve capabilities for self and staff
