Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.

Part of the Priory’s specialist Education Service, Linden House children’s home is a registered home for up to seven young people aged 11 to 18 who have learning disabilities, which may include autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and complex associated difficulties. Young people over this age may be deemed appropriate to remain in the home if it is their best interests and to support their continued education. This home is open 52 weeks per year.

We believe Linden House Children’s Home is a very special home for children and young people where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.

Linden House accommodates children and young people with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe autism with moderate challenging behaviour and associated conditions such as ADHD and Tourette’s Syndrome.

If so, the time is right to join our children`s home as we embark on the next phase of our development and growth.  As a Shift Leader you will lead your assigned shift taking responsibility for a small team of staff and a group of young people to ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic wellbeing. You will work in the children`s home but will also spend time in school supporting during the academic day. This is a whole year role and you must be prepared to work on a shift system including weekend shifts.
