The Priory Hospital is opening a new private ward within the grounds of the Woodbourne Hospital, Edgbaston. The Manor will be a 9 bedded unit that will provide care for patients with varying diagnoses, including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
This is an excellent opportunity to participate in the development and growth of a new service that aims to provide outstanding care to this client group. Our aim will be to work quickly to assess their needs and give them the care they need to enable them to go back into the community.
We are looking for an organised and thorough individual to join our busy admissions office on a part time basis.
The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and involves liaison with patients, referrers, consultants, nursing teams and insurers to handle enquiries, plan admissions and pre-authorise and maintain patient funding.
The successful candidate will have experience working in an administrative or customer services role, be highly organised and capable of managing their own workload. Also good with spreadsheets, alpha, numerical, attention to detail, patient orientated as cash handling. Experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage.
