The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with Acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has specialist Eating Disorders and Aspergers units. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Occupational Therapy team. The role will be based primarily on the Eating Disorder wards (with some input into Keston and Lower Court) and will include:
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), organisational skills (to manage an ever-evolving workload), time management skills, as well as have the ability to work autonomously and within a team. They will have the ability to develop professional boudaries and therapeutic relationships with service users and their families/carers, and have the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
