Well placed with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute, 2 young peoples wards (CAMHs) and Rehabilitation and Recovery. We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for young people and adults in a safe and supportive environment. The role:
The post holder will work within a mutidisciplinary context and have a key role in delivering interventions which support the mental, emotional,physical and social well-being of clients, their carers and families. You will develop implement and evaluate the delivery of agreed fitness programes designed to aid the development and well-being of patients and young people using creativity to maximise the use of available facilities. You will be highly conscientious ensuring risk assesments are completed to best meet the physical needs of individual patients and keen to collaborate with professional and clinial colleagues assisting with analysis and and contributing to case conferences when necessary. You will hold a Level 3 (Advanced Instructors) qualification and will be registered under the REPS scheme. Thorough knowledge of first aid is important as is a keen interest and understanding of the role played by diet and nutrition in fitness and well being.
