Description :

This position is with an ambitious start-up recruitment consultancy specialising in placing high-calibre candidates with some of the largest investment banks and asset management firms in the world. The Recruitment Resourcer will be part of an exciting team that is focused on delivering a first-class service whilst growing and making a difference across the financial services industry. As a Recruitment Resourcer you will be reporting directly to the founding Director in marketing vacancies in the most appropriate way, sourcing the best candidates and producing short-lists for the client. This is an entry-level position and will suit someone who is keen to start a career in recruitment. There is the opportunity for occasional hot-desk working in London where the company has a presence. The OTE is realistic with the scope to increase this in subsequent years. Also, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to progress within the company to Recruitment Consultant or a Business Development role. For someone with the drive and energy to succeed, a director-level position is ultimately achievable. Interviews will take place in August with an October start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating eye-catching job descriptions
  • Writing and placing job adverts
  • Marketing vacancies to attract potential candidates
  • Creating market maps to understand the employment market and develop candidate profiles
  • Searching for candidates on LinkedIn and Job Boards
  • Analysing, interviewing and short-listing of appropriate candidates

Person Specification:

To succeed in the recruitment industry the ideal person needs to show the following qualities:

  • Determination to achieve and to deliver company values and personal objectives
  • A self-starter/self-motivator
  • A willingness to learn, to develop and to learn from mistakes and implement positive change
  • Not be afraid to make mistakes but to see them as an opportunity to learn and develop
  • A passion for sales and/or recruitment
  • The desire to contribute to company growth by exceeding KPI’s
  • Always striving to deliver outstanding service
  • An effective team player who always makes a positive contribution
  • Effective communication skills – an ability to speak with respective clients via telephone in a polite, clear and professional manner
  • Presentable and professional whenever representing the company

Previous experience is not necessary provided you have a passion and a vision for delivering a professional, honest and first-class service to clients.

 

Base Salary: £18,000 (OTE £25,000 – £30,000)
