Job Details
The Technical Skills Instructor will run the day to day delivery of training programmes, supervise students and, where appropriate, associate trainers to ensure that learning objectives are met to course specifications and agreed quality standards. Ideally you will be qualified Assessor and / or Internal Verifier (A1/V1 NVQ Assessor). Work with other College departments to provide subject matter expertise in the formulation of evidence-based policing standards and the design and development of learning products.
Applications from ex-military (Royal Air Force, British Army, Royal Navy) are strongly encouraged.
All applicants should hold (or be able to achieve within 6 months)
- a Level 4 Certificate in Adult Education and Training
- Desirable that the candidate is a qualified and in licence Technical Surveillance Officer
- Desirable that the candidate is a qualified Assessor and / or Internal Verifier (A1/V1 NVQ Assessor)
- Recent operational experience as a TSU operative or similar operational work
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 dependant on experience
Location: Coventry
Hours: 37 hours per week
