SW 4756: Property Manager
Salary: £36,000 - ££41,000
Location: Exeter
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager for my client based in Exeter. They are seeking an individual with multi-site experience and a HNC/HND in building as a minimum, to manage the design and specification of all new build and refurbishment works across their estates in order to ensure that they deliver buildings and facilities that are cost efficient, effective and safe for purpose.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- An ability multi-task building related projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience of working with planning authorities, consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Excellent knowledge of building regulations, planning procedures, CDM regulations and other relevant legislation
- Proven experience in a building surveying/architectural field
- Experience of undertaking surveys, preparing drawings and specifications for a variety of building projects
- Good knowledge of preparation of planning applications and tender documentation
- Computer literate with good experience of CAD systems
Experience and Qualifications
- Management experience of a wide range of property related issues to include multi-site property and asset management
- Extensive project management experience an advantage
- Budget and cost management of a significant Estates budget and multiple projects
- Management of people including good communication skills, influencing/negotiation, diplomacy and advocacy, team management/leadership.
The successful candidate should ideally hold membership of a recognised professional body such as the RICS/RIBA/IAM etc. and have a proven, successful track record of working at management level within an Estates management discipline.
