HQ4764 Plant Service Engineer
Location: Hurst, Berkshire - Field Based
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE
An opportunity now exists to work for a company that specialises in the prevention of Legionella, within engineered Water Treatment and Air Hygiene environment. You will test and treat water along with installing and maintaining Water Treatment Equipment within commercial sites.
Applications from ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.
Types of work the company carry’s out:
- Full System, CWS Tank, HWS Calorifier cleaning and chlorination services
- Cooling Tower Treatment, analysis, sampling and refurbishment
- Steam Boiler and Steam Generator
- Closed System treatment and protection services
- Biofilm Control
- Closed System chemical flushing services
- Ongoing water testing to ensure systems are maintained in top working order
You will work as part of team and be required to travel to client’s premises where you will conduct and carry out maintenance on water treatment equipment. You will also be responsible for installation of treatment equipment. Company car is provided
You will mainly work in the South and South East area, but at times, you may be required to travel slightly further afield.
Ideally you will have knowledge of
- Water softening
- Reverse Osmosis
- Chlorine Dioxide installation
- Chemicals / Chemistry
- Electronics/Controls
An Electrical qualification is desirable but not essential.
Hours of work, Monday – Friday 40 hours a week
