A major UK retail solutions provider based in Dunfermline has a requirement for a HGV Mechanic to maintain the company’s commercial vehicles and cars in line with Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency maintenance policies. The ability to work accurately and safely to a high quality of workmanship is essential as company vehicles are inspected regularly by external organisations. You will be expected to work with minimum supervision and to service and maintain all vehicles to MOT standards, carrying out roadside repairs if necessary. The company’s business covers the whole of Scotland and, whilst travelling to company sites will attract overtime pay, no overnight stays will be required. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to build on previous experience and expand on their current skills set.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant must have a good mechanical background with an associated commercial qualification and experience.
Essential:
Minimum HGV Class 2 licence
Tachograph and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Cards
