The Company and the Role:
The Company is  a Hampshire based hospitality company with 6 bespoke, individual and exciting venues across the South Coast. All wonderfully bespoke with one shared goal; to be the best and most exciting hospitality company within the South Coast area..

The Company is on a mission to give their customers dining experiences that fill their stomachs with fresh, delicious food whilst warming their soul. All the while staying true to their  belief that local suppliers are best and they  have a responsibility to the communities around them.
Each venue in the Group has a reputation for using the best fresh and local ingredients, using carefully sourced suppliers. This restaurant and bar is set in superb surroundings  on the outskirts of Southampton and has its own unique marina food concept.
They are seeking a Chef de Partie. The position is permanent with straight shifts and reduced opening hours.
Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The Company`s  guests enjoy fantastic views of a Marina, either from the café or from their  large drinks terrace located adjacent to the water.
Their  menu offers a selection from light bites to classics, whilst their Chefs create an ever changing evening bistro menu. Attracting local regular customers as well as visitors to the beautiful nearby River Hamble walks, their customers can expect a warm, friendly and informal welcome where they  hope to make their customers feel as welcome as their own home.

Key Features of the Role:
In the Company`s opinion, one of the most crucial roles within the Kitchen, their  Chef de Partie`s are the glue that binds them, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef whilst training and buddying the Commis Chefs ,you have an active role in both the preparation  and service.
Hugely critical in the execution and delivery of their dishes you will have ample opportunity to help design specials and Desserts.
The Company takes great pride in the quality of the local fresh food they serve, the diversity of their menu and the attentive, passionate and friendly staff they employ.
Together as a team it`s your job to ensure that the customer`s expectations are met and exceeded every time they visit.
The Company is seeking an ambitious and committed individual with a passion for good food who is ready to continue developing their career in a growing hospitality group.
You will be a valued member of the team assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef to produce the best quality results for every customer`s culinary experience, emulating the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
This is a very busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail.
You`ll be part of a team who helps influence effective kitchen controls and to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering and stock control as well as driving excellent standards of health and hygiene.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished  Demi CPD or Chef De Partie with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
Above all you must be a real \"foodie\" able  to spread the word to the Company`s customers about the importance of the art of serving good, fresh and local food in an ever-increasing world where convenience is becoming the norm, they need people who have a love and passion for all things food.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy bar and restaurant, where the Company`s reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential, with fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

What`s on Offer?
Basic salary will be in a range from £18,000 to £19,500 per annum depending upon experience. In addition you will receive tips.
Standard 48 hour working week 5 days on, 2 days off. Straight Shifts with reduced hours.

20 days` holidays plus bank and public holidays or if required to work a day of
