Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 plus Benefits

An exciting requirement for a Test Operations Manager has arisen to work with a world class, independent engineering consultancy, operating in multiple locations around the world, to support vehicle manufacturers and their supply chain with cutting-edge engineering and testing expertise
This Client is looking to employ a Test Operations Manager to promote and introduce as appropriate standard processes and best practice across all of test operations and ensure delivery on-time in full to client.
The Test Operations Manager will also support creation and maintenance of all quality health & safety documentation across the facility, manage staff and facilities to leverage maximum output at lowest cost as well as create a responsive and flexible work environment with high levels of client and employee satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To manage day to day activities of test operations within the area designated
Ensure timely delivery of Customer projects at highest level of quality
Manage staff to ensure maximum utilisation of resource and capacity of equipment
Support development & implementation of technical capability roadmaps
Identify capital needs and input as necessary to business case
Ensure best working practices are followed and create a world class test environment for our customers and employees
To provide analysis of KPI data and agree and where appropriate lead improvement activities.
To provide data and support as needed for budget preparation and monthly reporting
To be a part of test ops team inputting into development future direction and strategy
Delivering cost reduction and quality improvement activity on an ongoing basis
Take full responsibility for H&S and Quality within their areas of responsibility utilising the services of the support team to ensure compliance and delivery to the agreed standards
Ensure Customer journey complies with Mira best practice
Coach and Mentor potential successors for the role

Degree Educated with good leadership skills

MBA, MSc, Degree in a business studies or engineering discipline. Maybe further professional qualifications
