This established Company supports a number of automotive dealerships promoting their highly coveted brand.
The Company currently has an excellent opportunity of Account and Events Manager to be based in the West Midlands.
Reporting to the Global Market Support Manager you will be the account expert running their end clients marketing, events and providing conformance guidance. This position is Permanent.
As the Account Manager you will be giving assistance and direction to your allocated account(s) in order to help with their continued success. You will be the expert and the helping hand for your account, guiding and assisting them with the delivery of their overall plan. Your account will look to you for proficient advice and valuable knowledge, keeping them well informed and providing them with continued direction for their own success; this will require a good personal touch.
As an Account and Events Manager you will be the main point of contact working from the Company office in the West Midlands to a global market working to a strategic management plan. You will enable and nurture the relationship with your account through the valuable talent that you can offer and reap the reward of seeing their success within their global market.
The key areas of support will be: running their marketing campaigns, setting up and helping to run the promotional events and then helping to analyse the outcome.
You may also be required to drive their cars as a part of the promotion.
This is a role where you can really contribute, try and execute exciting plans that you have created, witness the enormous job satisfaction through qualified results in the form of increased sales. Due to the global nature you will need to be flexible so that you can keep in touch with the Continental time zones you`ll be engaging with.
Your accounts will be looking to a global audience and so you will be required to travel to such events around the world. Running such prestigious gatherings can also mean that, sometimes, you will be working at the weekend. This will be covered with either time off in Lieu or as paid days.
Key Features of the Role:
The key feature for this role will be your ability to build on an already robust relationship of an existing account and enabling them to communicate their brand to a global market.
You will be required to guide them with their marketing campaigns and help them achieve their key objectives whilst analysing whether or not these campaigns have been successful.
As the main Account Manager and point of contact you will need to help direct the end clients marketing campaigns through your experience in accordance with the account`s strategic plan.
Understanding your account and their market will be critical and so the ability to communicate with and understand both parties, is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Marketing and Events Manager, ideally with experience of working with automotive clients.
Ideally you will have experience of organising and delivering automotive customer experience days.
You will require a good background in marketing, sound management skills in order to direct marketing campaigns and an analytical understanding to translate the information into action and requirements.
Excellent project management and organisational skills will be required for the event planning.
You should possess strong communication skills both verbal and written and excellent inter-personal skills.
You should be well organised, able to prioritise workload balancing multiple projects.
Due to the brand being automotive, you must be 18 years and over, hold a full driving license and have done so for the last twelve months, have not been convicted of any offence involving dangerous driving, know of no circumstances which would disqualify one from driving, nor suffering from any physical and, or, mental condition which would restrict or impair one`s alertness or driving ability.
What`s on Offer:
Basic salary will be around £ 35K. In addition there will be global travel, 34 days holiday, cycle to work; company pension scheme; child care vouchers; staff discounts; parking.
