Off Base Storage Manager required by a leading fuel supplier of fuel services into austere environments!
NCS Fuel currently requires an Off Base Storage Manager to take responsibility for the management and control of fuel holdings at the storage facility and any alternate storage facilities. This includes co-ordination of fuel downloads/uploads and deliveries to NCS Fuel and customer facilities, and fuel forecasts based on customer information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational control of all deliveries and uploads to/from Commercial Storage Facilities in the deployed region and accurate documentation. Monitor stock holdings in the Region.
Submit daily fuel movements schedules to NCS management, transport providers and customers.
Co-ordinate transport providers in order to maximize efficiency and ensure most cost effective transport solutions.
Ensure stock holdings database is maintained.
Tracking of all fuel uploads from Storage facility to NCS customer destination and providing transport status reports to NCS Managers and customers.
Submit timely forecasts for transport providers, fuel providers, and NCS management for delivery to NCS customers.
Management of sub-contractors.
Ensure that all quality assurance documentation is completed accurately and maintained for all storage facility activities.
Ensure fuel quality standards in the storage facilities are maintained; facilitate fuel tests and record results where applicable.
OH&S in your area of responsibility. Local procurement where authorized. Completion of all fuel delivery documentation including obtaining RS signatures and stamps where required.
Liaison with NATO/RS/staff and providing accurate reports to higher command. Conduct training for LOs and NCS staff.
Other tasks as directed by Senior NCS Fuel Management.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience/Qualifications:
Proven leadership, management and change management experience in fuel or general logistics. Experience working in a fuel transportation and storage environment. Proven ability to work in remote, arduous locations, or a clearly expressed commitment to do so for 12 months.
Skills/Attributes
Advanced computer skills, database management and spreadsheet development. Knowledge and application of fuel management and quality control processes and procedures.
Business process improvement skills and experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
Position/Environmental Conditions:
Remote locations. Medium to High Security threat. International travel at short notice if required. Group accommodation. Military/NGO and selected Diplomatic customer base.
