Wycombe Abbey is a world-renowned independent girls boarding school in the heart of High Wycombe. This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Security to manage and be accountable for the provision of security strategy, policies, and operations in order to protect pupils, residents, staff, parents, visitors and property.
The Head of Security will manage the team of Custodians who fulfil a vital role in the Schools security arrangements, with key responsibility for control of entry to the site.
Hours of work: This is a 52-week role. The post-holder will be required to work an average 41-hour week including regular weekend duties. There is a requirement to respond to emergencies out of normal school hours which may include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and holiday periods. This is a residential post. Accommodation will be provided in return for emergency out-of-hours cover for alarms, security, health & safety issues and call-outs of any nature.
