The Company and the Role:
The Company has been established since 1994 and since this date the company has achieved NSI Gold Status for CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control as well as The BAFE SP203 accreditation for fire alarms.
Gold status is only given to companies who meet the security industry`s highest standards.
They are currently seeking additional Fire and Security Alarm Installation Engineers to work in and around Basingstoke / Reading / Thame / Oxford / Camberley / Guildford / Newbury areas. The positions are permanent.
Key Features of the Role:
The role is to carry out Installations of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Fire and Security Alarm Installation Engineer and ideally live in or around Basingstoke, Reading, Thame, Oxford, Camberley or Newbury.
You should have experience in the following disciplines; CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems.
You must have a high level of technical experience with electronic fire and security systems.
You must have an up-to-date understanding of current British Standards relating to fire and security systems.
You will be a customer facing representative of our client and the general public at all times, consequently a highly professional and customer-oriented mentality is paramount to the role.
You will have energy, drive, and enthusiasm for work.
You should display professional conduct and willingness to pursue customer satisfaction.
You should possess efficient organisational skills and ability to work as both an individual, and as part of a team.
Experience of front line customer contact is preferred.
You must have a full UK driving licence.
You should be of a clean smart appearance.
Your working hours will be from 08.30 to 17.30 on site. These hours are the minimum requirements for you to carry out your duties. Travelling will be in your own time.
What`s on Offer:
Salary will be in a range of between £23-29k per annum depending upon your experience and skill set. In addition, a company vehicle is provided.
In addition to the basic salary, a callout rota exists for \"Out of Hours\" emergency service, you may be offered inclusion within the aforementioned rota at present one week in five.
At present callout is £15.00 per week night and £30.00 per weekend day. Any callouts will be paid at time and a half rate from door to door.
Other benefits provided are 21 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 plus bank and public holidays, Fuel Card and Mobile Phone.
You are expected to provide your own hand tools. The company will provide any plant.
