This global provider of pioneering engineering, research and test services to the automotive, defence, aerospace and rail sectors are no seeking a Permanent Kinematics and Compliance Operator at Nuneaton.
Essential Experience for this role would include
Good Knowledge of vehicle dynamics attribute and chassis systems
Basic understanding of a K & C rig
Proficient in the use of PC based software and systems
Desirable experience for this role would include:
Operation or experience of a K & C Facility
Instrumentation knowledge and installation experience
Experience in vehicle dynamics testing or simultation
Practical hands on experience of working with vehicles
Skills
Skills for this role would include
Vehicle preparation and loading onto the test rig
Operation of the K & C rig to conduct a test suite
Data logging and recording of test information
Scrutiny of test data
Preparation of test data and reports to customers
Customer liaison, including enquiry handling and proposal generation
Facility maintenance and upkeep
Qualifications
Essential qualifications for this role would include:
Full clean driving license
Degree qualified in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
Desirable qualifications for this role would include
Vehicle Dynamics modules taken during degree

The Company has 2 kinematics and compliance (K & C) rigs that form part of the core facility offering of the Vehicle Dynamics attribute at MIRA. The facility supports customer testing as well as being utilised by the Vehicle engineering programs run.This position is for a rig operatore who will conduct testing and report results to key customers.
