An experience Sales Team Leader is required to join a world leading machine knife manufacturer with global distribution, as the new Internal Sales Team Leader. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of developing and leading an internal team to increase sales activity and facilitate growth in sales. Holding an ILM Level 2 or equivalent qualification in leadership and team skills the role is ideally suited to a candidate who is looking to take the next step in leading and developing a team. To be successful you will be passionate for providing excellent customer service whilst achieving KPI’s and targets. As the Internal Sales Team Leader you will work well under pressure and be experienced in a fast paced high pressure environment. Experience and Responsibilities:
- Proven sales team leadership experience of at least 5 years
- Experience within a fast paced, highly pressurised, multi-tasking environment
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills at all levels, and by any form (telephone, email, letter and face to face)
- Experience of dealing with European customer base, would be advantageous
- Ability to encourage colleagues to give regular feedback on sales and driving the team to achieve KPI’s & service standards
- Proficient with CRM systems, Outlook and Excel
- Strong ability in preparing figures for daily, weekly and month end as requested
- Creative thinking, to be able to come up with new ideas to improve customer service standards
- Strong negotiation skills
- Using skills to become involved in all aspects of internal sales area
Qualifications:
- ILM Level 2 in Leadership & Team skills or equivalent qualification
- ICS qualification (Institute of Customer Service) would be preferable, but not essential
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
