The Company and the Role:
Amazing sales career development opportunity, working full time as a permanent Sales Associate for an award-winning technology and solutions business near Fareham, offering training and progression.
The Sales Associate role will offer you the opportunity to develop knowledge in campaigns, lead generation, solution tendering and quotations, helping you build customer relationships and a successful career foundation.

Perhaps you have a higher education background or degree within Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, Technology, Design, Manufacturing, IT or similar.
You will be joining an award-winning design and manufacturing business with an international reach and client base, working on bespoke solutions in industries such as Transport, Medical, Defence, Energy, Gaming, Petrochemical, Automation, Aerospace etc. 

Key Features of the Role:
Undertake research to define suitable corporate target contacts and participate in the achievement of sales targets.
Make appointments for face to face meetings for Field Sales representatives.
Proactively cold / warm call suspects to create a pipeline of interested prospects.
Build long lasting relationships to maintain and develop the accounts you manage and support.
Proactively research and develop an appropriate knowledge of customer business and requirements.
Attend exhibitions aimed at relevant sectors to introduce the Companies products and services.

Knowledge and Skills:
Either a relevant business qualification and / or proven sales experience in an office environment, a First or 2:1 degree in a business-related subject would be preferred.
You will also be an influential communicator who is able to articulate value added through solutions, features and benefits, with external and internal stakeholders.
Emotionally robust to handle and overcome failures, potential deadlines and targets, as well as handling multiple priorities of a busy sales team.
Prior sales experience in a telephone based sales environment or a business to business background would be essential.
Experience in any of the industry areas listed above would be advantageous, along with CRM database management experience and MS Office knowledge would be essential.

What’s on Offer?
You will receive a basic salary of £18,000 - £20,000 based on experience, with a staged salary progression.
You will also receive commission on top of your basic should your team achieve its targets.
Annual Company and personal performance related (KPI’s).
The Company will offer you a personal development plan for career progression up the sales team ladder, with basic salary increases up to £25K / £40K depending on ability, performance and product knowledge.
A 12 – 24 month training and support plan will be put in place to help you achieve your goals and career progression, with dedicated trainers.
Opportunities to attend company Expo’s, client meetings, sales pitches and potential travel.
28 days holiday (20 including 8 public holidays), additional holidays accrued (tenure proportionate), up to a maximum of 10 additional days.
Auto-enrolment into company contributory pension scheme.
Working 37.5 hours per week based on flexi-time Monday to Friday.
