The Company and the Role:
Amazing dual brand full time permanent opportunity working as an office based Finance and Administration Manager in South East London. The bias is accounts and finance, using Xero, supporting the Director`s Deli / Bistro and Flower businesses.
The Company is looking for a Finance and Administration Manager to join their business, who can confidently hit the ground running, supporting both businesses, starting around May to early June.
As part of a small team you will need to be able to handle changing urgencies and multiple personalities, using relationship and management skills in a clear and concise manner.
Working in a dual role with two different businesses will require a strong personality and someone who is emotionally robust, able to handle business pressures, targets, deadlines and personalities.
You will also be involved in the normal day to day, troubleshooting any issues with phone lines, merchant services, assisting with delivery check in`s etc.

Key Features of the Role:
As Finance and Administration Manager you will be expected to have knowledge, ability and a working understanding of the Xero accounting system, inputting data on spreadsheets is a key requirement, basic payroll and paying wages.
You will know how to check takings every day, counting and verifying cash, that credit card takings match with merchant services, and all banking for both businesses.
You will have current experience at keeping good records of invoices paid and un-paid, as well as scanning invoices to accountants and inputting purchase invoices and sales invoices. Producing sales invoices for both businesses and keeping on top of outstanding payments due.
You will be preparing accounts for the accountants to complete VAT quarters and End of Year accounts.
You will carry out basic HR functions and record keeping (staff holidays, pay, sickness, disciplinary records and monthly rotas). Basic Administration such as ordering from suppliers, keeping track of insurances due, supplier contract negotiations etc.

Knowledge and Skills:
As an accomplished Finance and Administration Manager you must have current experience and competency using Xero for everyday business requirements as listed above.
You must have a Financial Manager background and have managed banking, cash and card verification, Input data and spreadsheet knowledge, merchant services record keeping, invoices, VAT quarter and End of Year accounts, payroll and wages experience.
You must have previous experience liaising with merchant services suppliers, making orders, managing contract negotiation and insurance renewal timetables.
You must have basic HR and office Administration experience as detailed above, and you must be emotionally robust to deal with big personalities in the Management team.
You are required to be physically robust as the role requires you to assist with checking in deliveries, stock, and other items delivered to site. Also the office is based above a storage unit and will require a lot of walking up and down stairs every day.

What`s on Offer:
A basic salary of £30,000 depending on skill set and experience.
Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility needed during busy times of the year when it is all hands on deck.

28 days` holiday (including bank holidays).
