£24,000 rising to £25,000 after 6 months

This post is primarily for a Technician who would be required to travel to clients with a geographical spread throughout the UK. There will be the need for some overnight stays and also to work at their Headquarters in West bromwich.
Business Mileage is offered with the position. Where audiometric screening is involved then the technician will be required to drive a mobile screening (manuel geared) to sites throughout the Uk to test hearing in scientific conditions.
The technician will work as part of a team to facilitate the effective delivery of occupational health to the standards and requirements of the Chief Occupational Health Physician and the Health and Safety executive.
The technician will be required to demonstrate a bsuiness and commercial awareness in line with our various client strategic policies, together with health and safety issues, in order to bring business strategy to our clients
Main Tasks
To support the medical team as a Technician to carry out the following clinical tasks
Audiometry
Immunisation
Drug and Alcohol testing to include ad hoc and random testing at client companies
Skin assessments
Tier 1 Hand Arm vibration assessments
Spirometry
Vision Testing
General medical assessment
Any other clincial areas requested by the team

To maintain clear and accurate records
To maintain confidentiality and securitty of records
Personal responsibility to keep up to date with the current developments in occupational health
To undertake relevant CPD as necessary
To be responsible for medical stores
General vehicle maintenance on the mobile screening units
To organise and instruct drug and alcohol
All training will be given three week induction
