The Company is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate, customer focused Receptionist to join their Front of House team, at one of the most exciting award-winning hotel and restaurants in the heart of the New Forest, Hampshire. The position is permanent.
Key Features of the Role:
As a Receptionist you will be the face of the Company and most likely the first and last person many of the guests will see.
You will look to make the guests experience positive and happy, with a smile, high standards and great attention to detail.
You will use the Opera systems as part of your daily routine.
You will provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests but not in a formal or stuffy manner.
You will need to carry out administrational duties, such as making room and table reservations, responding to emails and sending guest correspondence.
Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Receptionist or a Customer Focused hospitality professional
You must be able to provide a memorable experience throughout a Guests stay.
You must be able to deal with guest enquiries in an efficient and proactive manner.
You must be emotionally robust and responsible for the actions you take during your Reception shift.
You must also be able to correctly handle cash and data when dealing with Guests of the Hotel.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy hotel, where the Company`s reputation is second to none.
You must have your own transport due to the rural location of the hotel, if you choose not to live in.

What`s on Offer?
The Receptionist opportunity offers a basic salary of £17,500 per annum plus tronc (tips) worth around £1,000 per annum. A live-in option is available subject to availability and personal contribution towards the rent.
Working 5 days on 2 days off, 40 hours per week covering shifts. Early Shift are 7:00-15:30 / Mid-Day Shifts are 9:00-17:30 or 10:00-19:00 / Late Shifts are 14:30-23:00.
Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus all bank and public holidays, rising by 1 day each year for 5 years.
