Internal Call & Counter Specialist

Reports to: Sales and Marketing
Overall Job Role
Answer incoming calls from customers to take orders, answer enquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information. In addition, Serving customers over a trade counter when required to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilties
Answer calls/ respond to emails and create sales order
Handle customer inquiries both telephone and by email
Research required information using available resources
Manage trade counter enquiries whilst determining products required by customers and suggest alternative and/or additional items related to their order
Manage and resolve customer complaints if needed
Provide customers with good working knowledge of the products
Update exisiting customer information as well as adding new customers
Process orders, forms and applications
Maintain counter area displays of merchandise in an orderly and attractive manner
Follow up customer calls where necessary
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
Carry out outbound calling campaigns when required
Complete call logs/produce call reports

Perform basic maths calculations required to complete assigned tasks, (discounts, customer pricing)
Education
Fully IT Literate
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages
Experience of taking in bound Calls
Experience of working within an automotive factoring environment
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Some experience in a call centre or customer service environment
Good data entry and typing skills
