HQ5359 IT Asset Disposal Operative
Location: Halstead (Head Office) + Travel within UK/Europe
Salary: £18,000 + potential overtime available
An opportunity has arisen for an IT Asset Disposal Operative to join the team and work for the leading IT Disposal Company, specialising in the Computer Disposal, Data Wiping and Data Destruction Services. Full training is provided for those without relevant IT experience. We are keen to hear from applicants who are flexible, driven and motivated to learn.
The IT Asset Disposal Operative will be required to travel within the UK/Europe and at times you’ll be required to stay overnight. This can range from one night to one week (full expenses are paid) depending on the nature of the project you’re working on. A company van is provided for business use which will be kept at the Head Office overnight.
Full training and uniform will be provided, however you will require a UK Driving Licence.
Applications from ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection of old IT equipment from sites across the UK and Europe.
- De-commissioning of Data Centres
- Data wiping
- Asset management
- Computer refurbishment
Person Specification:
- Be Computer literate
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
- Reliable and prompt
Essential:
- UK Driving Licence
- IT experience NOT essential as full training will be provided
Salary:
- £18,000 + potential overtime available
