Amazing full time permanent Graphic Designer opportunity in Eastleigh, with an award winning national Company, increasing brand presence and awareness across digital and traditional print channels.
As the main Graphic Designer you will need a strong sense of brand guideline values and know how to influence them positively within a large award winning national business.
The position requires an innovative grasp of branding and design in a corporate environment, to deliver high volumes of work from brief through to completion, ensuring a high level of accuracy with minimal revisions throughout all work produced.
Working with other teams and departments to gain a thorough understanding of the business and the industry, to quickly identify other marketing and design opportunities.
Increase presence and brand awareness of brands through both digital and traditional print channels, for trade shows, expo’s, trade collateral, training, coaching and brand infographics, industry sector trends, equipment and service descriptions. Working alongside a larger corporate team to re-vamp the Company website.
Key Features of the Role:
You will assist in implementation of marketing and communication strategies for 2 brands, creation of graphics for both online and print media. Including advertisements, marketing collateral, event invitations, posters, banners, newsletters, e-shots, billing messages, social media posts and websites.
You will help with creation of branded templates and icons for email platform. Removing existing and adding new corporate branding on documents, as well as maintaining and updating website with creative and design concepts.
You will ensure websites are optimized for viewing on mobiles, tablets and in different browsers, using SEO, and reporting on key digital metrics including website visitors and click through.
You will ensure all website plugins are kept up to date and secure, removing expired branding and website content, reviewing security policies, ensuring compliance and legality.
As Graphic Designer you will also be expected to research design trends and developments to suggest ideas for improvement for the Company websites.
Knowledge and Skills:
As Graphic Designer you must be proficient in Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Google Analytics, managing WordPress CMS for websites and have experience developing WordPress.
You must have knowledge of website standards, mobile optimization, SEO and effect of page structure is desirable.
You must have experience working to brand guidelines when it comes to design, and current experience in editing PDF documents.
You must currently be utilizing skills such as attention to detail, a keen eye for design, idea innovation, problem solving (such as debugging), as being emotionally robust working to meet fluid deadlines.
What’s on Offer?
The Graphic Designer opportunity will pay a basic salary between £23,000 to £26,000, which will be assessed at interview and based on experience plus other contributing factors.
Working hours 8am till 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
25 days holiday + bank holidays + additional 1 day’s holiday for every year worked up to 30 days holiday maximum.
The option to buy up to an extra 5 holiday days.
