Description :

Our client is part of a much larger group and is a well-respected and renowned integrated remote site services company, offering construction, camp services, catering, management and supply of labour camps for the oil and gas, mining, construction, humanitarian and post conflict sectors.
These are usually in remote locations and often challenging environments, where everything has to be brought to site.
The breadth of capabilities are enormous, the company can contract to supply every conceivable need, from initial build, to power and water infrastructure to postal services and telecoms, medical services, security, cleaning, even pest control.
They are currently seeking a Catering Project Manager to be based in Basrah, Iraq. This position is permanent on an open ended contract.
Reporting into the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall Project Management of the Catering services, Maintenance and Engineering at the assigned Region/Country.
You will also define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the entire contract cycle.
Specifically you will apply and follow the contractual obligations and our clients policies and procedures.
You will follow, imply and maintain all ISO standards and requirements.
You will ensure that the operation align with the Management mission, strategic objectives and policies. 
You will direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
You will develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
You will be responsible for Camp Facilities Management and the supply of food raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, drinking water and safe catering.
You will supervise water supply, purification, distribution, storage, technical usage of residual water.
You will control fuel acceptance, storage dispensing, circulation, distribution and maintenance and repairs of equipment and storage facilities.
You will supervise the maintenance and cleaning of premises.
You will be responsible for HACCP and HSE.
You will be responsible for managing a budget, to maintain and increase profit margins.
You will be responsible for all Catering, Administration, Cleaning and Maintenance aspects on site.
You will plan and schedule project timeliness and milestones using appropriates tools.
You will oversee the project and ensuring the organization follows local laws and regulations.
You will delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate staffs in the operations.
You will ensure effective waste management and disposal and all utility service connections.
You will ensure firefighting and prevention is in place.
You will supervise the  laundry facilities
You will ensure effective control, extermination and prevention of insects and rodents.
You will supervise engineering works and airport ground services.
You will identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
You will proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
You will coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
You will respond to any possible complaints, quickly and efficiently.
You will build a team and ensure effective motivation of your team.
You will set and continually manage project expectations with the Operation team.
Finally you will comply with QHSE policies and rules set by the company and to continually support the same to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
You should be an energetic and accomplished English speaking Camp Services Manager/ Catering Project Manager.
Your practical experience should ideally be accompanied by some qualifications in food and beverage service and management or catering service or in food production.
Your practical experience should have included catering, maintenance, waste management, warehousing, fuel, laundry and accommodation management.
You should be highly self-motivated with the ability to communicate and motivate a varied team.
Experience of working in contracted catering services for reputable catering companies for oil companies in labour camps in oil field areas is highly desirable.
You should  be familiar with Occupational Safety & Health Regulations (OSHA) and ISO 9000 and implementation of HSE programs.
You should have experience of serving meals to over 400 persons per day,
You will have an excellent understanding of commercial catering operations and specifically a high degree of knowledge on food hygiene including HACCP, food handling and food presentation concepts and knowledge of popular catering and bakery products.
