Introduction:
Our company based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk is a well-established and leading provider of Innovative ingredient solutions. They provide services to a wide variety of industry and business sectors, They are now looking to recruit a Shift Engineering Operator to work as part of a team and operate all Distillation process units and associated ancillary equipment and control systems. Please note this role involves working a two shift system (Rotating shift 6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm).
Responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Distillation plant for a skilled Operator with engineering experience. Working as part of the shift team, the role will operate all Distillation process units and associated ancillary equipment and control systems. All employees contribute to a right first time policy and help to ensure that all orders are met on time and within specification, whilst maintaining high levels of health and safety at all times. This position will have additional responsibility for routine Engineering tasks such as breaking lines, valve changes, decay tests and pneumatic repairs. Providing assistance to the Site Engineering team in fault finding and initial assessment of plant breakdowns.
Applicant Requirements: -
Must have qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline. - You will ideally have previous experience in a manufacturing environment. - Demonstrate a high attention to detail. - Ability to learn new processes quickly.
