EB8359: Mobile Service Engineer
Salary: £27,000 DOE
Location:Birmingham
Position: Permanent
Benefits:23 Days Holiday, Profit Share Scheme, Pension, Overtime, Company Van, Healthcare etc.
This Mobile Service Engineer must have at least 2 years experience in Powered Access. The Mobile Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Senior Engineer in the smooth running of the depot, also as this is a Mobile Role, you will be required to visit customer sites within the Region.
Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Carrying out pre-delivery inspections, service, LOLER inspections, repairs, manufacturer updates and maintaining the corporate image of the fleet of rental machines.
*Accurately complete all necessary recording of checks using a company issued PDA, following company procedure at all times.
*Must communicate effectively with the engineering team and hire office to make sure that the depot maintains maximum machine availability
Qualifications/Experience:
*A minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in engineering
*A strong mechanical knowledge in a heavy plant background, i.e. powered access, excavators or forklifts.
*Must be competent in in electro/hydraulic systems
*Experience in fault finding / diagnostics
*Must be able to communicate professionally as you will be working closely with customers and colleagues.
*Must be able to priorities tasks in an ever changing demanding hire environment
Note: This Client operates on a 2 Stage Interview Process and Online Testing to Screen Candidates.
