Our Client is one of the world’s leading automatic door companies and they are looking to add to their team with the recruitment of an experienced Installation Engineer based in North Hampshire.
Due to continued growth and development, they are seeking an Installation Engineer to install Automatic Doors, Shopfronts and Screenworks. The position is permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an automatic door engineer to join a well-established market leader supplying a service to the commercial and industrial markets.
After a period of training on our clients product range you would be expected to have knowledge of installing automatic door systems, shop fronts and screenworks and be able to work in a team or independently.
You would work directly for a Project Manager for the scheduling of work and will be expected to provide daily updates to the Project on the status of the jobsite.
You will visit both new bulld sites and refurbishment of existing customer’s premises in London and the South East.
Knowledge & Skills
You will be an accomplished Service Engineer with experience in the installation, service and maintenance of automatic doors and installation of shop fronts and screenworks.
You will have the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
You will be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Ideally you will be BS7036 / EN16005 registered.
You should have a CSCS card.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You should be professional and have excellent inter personal, customer service and customer facing skills.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
A DBS check will be undertaken a part of the selection and referencing procedure.
Salary will be in a range of between £26,500 – 30,000 per annum depending upon experience. In addition there is a bonus scheme. A company van will also be supplied as will all tools required to undertake tasks, company mobile telephone, uniform and PPE, 25 days holiday and pension scheme.
