Our client has an exceptional record as management consultants and are industry leaders in the UK, Europe and North America and significant organisations in the public sector.
Their consultancy assignments are substantial, complex and demanding. They know how to design and install better business processes, to restructure operations, to set up new managerial and financial controls, to eliminate complexity, to apply Lean and Six Sigma, to create efficient supply chains and to get better performance from overheads.
They work in a wide range of sectors, including engineering, aerospace, oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing, FMCG, central government and the NHS. Projects typically involve major performance improvements in large organisations.
They are now looking to add additional Consultants to their team based out of their offices in Greater Manchester. The positions are permanent.
As a client Consultant, you will complete assignments in a wide range of industries and public sector organisations.
Your success will be determined by your ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
Your objective will be to achieve outstanding results in reducing costs, improving performance and managing change.

To be considered for this position you need to live north of Birmingham and within commutable distance of Manchester.
Knowledge and Skills:
Our client’s consultants come from a range of backgrounds. You should have substantial experience of at least one of: manufacturing, logistics/supply chain, lean, analysis of overheads, cost reduction, organisational design, information technology.
You will be able to demonstrate sound commercial judgement, excellent communication skills and experience in a significant managerial role.
Previous experience as a Management Consultant is not a prerequisite. Instead our client is keen to talk to people who have an outstanding educational background ( a 1st class degree from a top university) and can demonstrate a progressive career, probably, but not necessarily, in engineering or manufacturing
You will be intellectually curious and have a track record of working within operations, process or supply chain.
You will be passionate about solving business challenges and providing insight and expertise.
You will be self-assured and able to assemble convincing and commercial arguments and to present them persuasively.

The role is permanent with a salary will be in a range of £ 40,000 to £ 80,000 plus benefits depending upon your knowledge and skill set.
