The Woodbourne Priory Hospital is a 71 -bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults and adolescents, based in Edgbaston Birmingham, offering a wide range of care to our varied client base of inpatient, outpatient and day patients.
The Priory Hospital is opening a new private ward within the grounds of the Woodbourne Hospital, Edgbaston. Oak ward will be a 9 bedded unit that will provide care for patients with varying diagnoses, including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
This is an excellent opportunity to participate in the development and growth of a new service that aims to provide outstanding care to this client group.
If you are interested in joining this exciting new venture, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Deputy Ward Manager for a fixed term contract on our Private Ward.
You will be responsible for managing the unit. You will also have proven leadership skills along with a strong drive to develop yourself and the dedicated nursing team. You will directly participate in patient care, offer a high standard of both customer and patient care. Experience of providing CBT services would be desirable though not essential.
