The Priory Hospital Church Village is situated in Tonteg near Pontypridd in South Wales. The hospital is a locked rehabilitation service for females aged 18-65 with a learning disability and other mental health needs including personailty disorders.
The hospital has ten en suite bedrooms and a 2 bedroom self contained bungalow,which is available for service users preparing to step down.
The hospital also has a purpose built therapy suite with an occupational therapy kitchen, art room, therapy room, quiet lounge and a secure and an open garden. It is within easy walking distance of local shops, a leisure centre, an adult learning centre and village hall and provides easy access to the M4 motorway and the city of Cardiff.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and committed Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Lead to cover for a period of maternity leave. The role holder will be part of the Senior Management Team, ensuring delivery of an optimum level of clinical and therapeutic care, together with ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against key performance indicators.
This is an exciting and challenging role within the hospital. The post holder will be a major contributor to the development and enhancement of the nursing services at a local level and will need to balance conflicting demands using adaptive thinking and positive problem solving.
The role would suit an experienced Manager, or a Ward Manager wishing to take the next step up in their career development.
