The role:

Working within our Business Support Services job family this role sits within our Administration & Operation Department and involves administration duties to cover payroll, patient admissions, site learning administration and secretarial cover. The successful candidate will ensure business processes are effectively and efficiently managed to support the delivery of a quality care service to our stakeholders.

You will provide an efficient, professional and effective administrative and/or secretarial support service to members of the Senior Management Team, Doctors and Consultants. This will involve the production of documents and/or reporting materials, handling telephone enquiries, filing, updating systems and databases and room bookings as required. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support on varied tasks to assist senior managers and/or departments.

This role requires a strong focus on Payroll and Banking duties, including the effective management of petty cash records, general banking duties, ad hoc payroll administration and pay queries and to support with proactis.

With one year’s work experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical secretarial, educational or other appropriate background environment.  Educated to GCSE (Grades A-C) or equivalent standard. Excellent keyboard skills and an intermediate level of proficiency for the standard range of computer office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

The post holder will have the ability to organise and priorities their own work within established procedures.  in addition, they will need to work well as an individual and fit into a team when required and have excellent stakeholder management skills, communication skills with a friendly and helpful nature but able to demonstrate tenacity when completing a task.
