A Technical Support Engineer is required for a well-established distributor of international brands to the Marine, Coachbuilding and Residential industries.
Applications from ex-military engineers are strongly encouraged.
Due to sales growth, the company is looking for a motivated and professional Technical Support Engineer to support the sales team and customers. Having someone with a good customer-focused attitude is critical as well as being able to work on their own is important. The role is predominantly telephone & email support, although occasional customer service visits in the UK will be required.
Responsibilities
- Technical support for key product range
- System fault finding
- System programming & commissioning
- Product training
- System specification
- Sales support
- Supplier liaison
- Product testing
- Customer support
Essential:
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Knowledge of similar products, systems & competitors
- Knowledge of BUS systems
- Experience in a similar role and products
Desirable:
- Knowledge of KNX
- Knowledge of heating control systems or video/entertainment systems
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
