Providing quality, inspiring innovation and delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health difficulties to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
The Cloisters is a 24 bedded open rehabilitation unit, set within a peaceful environment on the edge of Newbury. The unit offers in-patient rehabilitation services to service users who require longer hospital stays than provided in an acute ward, to develop independent living skills prior to moving into community based accommodation.
We are currently looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking to recruit a personable, flexible and motivated individual to assist our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients.
You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a group of patients with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.
Benefits of working for us include the equivalent of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme, comprehensive induction programme and computerised training programme, childcare vouchers, on-going access to clinical supervision and occupational health support. We have an excellent team and offer a very good working environment with an ever evolving service where ideas and innovation are welcome and are integral to the development of the service.
