We currently have an opportunity for an energetic, committed and ambitious Head Teacher at Troup House School to contribute to the effective delivery of our education service by providing a leadership for our Education Team and supporting the development of our unique curriculum. All of our Teachers deliver education across the curriculum and we have specific areas for development including Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing candidates with Primary and/or Secondary qualifications and experience will be considered due to the age range of our young people.
You will also be required to hold a current UK driving licence and undergo certified training and refresher courses in a range of areas including Safeguarding, Physical Intervention, Behavioural Management, First Aid, Fire Prevention and Health & Safety at work and other specialist training relating to the context of the School and the needs of your Children.
You are required to be register with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCs) if your application is successful.
References
For all roles we require a minimum of two references. References provided must cover the last 5 years.
Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
If you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
