Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute, 2 young peoples wards (CAMHs) and Rehabilitation and Recovery. We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for young people and adults in a safe and supportive environment. The post holder will work within a mutidisciplinary context and have a key role in delivering interventions which support the mental, emotional,physical and social well-being of young people on our CAMHS wards, their carers and families. This will include, assisting qualified therapists with patient assessment, indentifying, planning, delivering and evaluating targeted therapeutic interventions in response to patient needs, facilitating one to one and group activities as directed. Observing, recording and reporting patient activity. Contributing to the development and maintenance of a therapeutic ethos and environment. Applications are invted from individuals who are educated to GCSE/O Level standard or with a relevant NVQ2. Previous work experience in a related healthcare environment is required, as is a genuine interest to work with a complex client group. Commitment to team work and delivering a high quality service is essential.
