Vehicle Service Technician
Location: Croydon
Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 pa DOE, - OTE £30k-£37k pa
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00am to 5:30pm (1-in-4 Sat mornings on rota 8:00am to 1:00pm)
A Vehicle Service Technician is required to join the busy workshop of this Croydon based car dealership.
You should ideally possess previous experience of working in either a main dealer, auto repair centre or working in a mechanic job in a similar vehicle workshop.
Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.
The dealership workshop hosts a variety of types of work ranging from PDI & used car prep, to repairs of brakes, clutches, tyres and exhausts, to MOTs, cam belts, engine and gearbox repairs, through to diagnostics, mechanical & electrical fault finding.

You should have a City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications (or similar), be fully equipped with own tools & protective footwear and hold a full UK Driver’s licence
The hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:00am to 1:00pm
A basic salary of between £25,000 and £32,000 per annum is on offer, based on previous expertise and relevant brand experience. An efficiency bonus scheme enables additional earnings of up to or in excess of £5,000 pa. OTE circa £30k - £37k pa.
Brand training available to those candidates who require it; completion of this plus satisfactory quality of work can also lead to rapid improvements in grade and salary.
