Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.
Set in its own grounds close to Frome town centre, North Hill House is an independent specialist day and residential school for children and young people aged 6 to 19 years with high functioning autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Syndrome and associated difficulties.
The school has been specifically designed to provide a strong focus for both UK and international students who need different levels of support to succeed, thus allowing young people with autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated difficulties to thrive effectively in an ever-demanding and complex society. Students have ambitions to live and work as self-reliant adults and we can help them to reach their goals with continued support, structure and guidance. The school welcomes students on a day or weekly residential basis for 38 weeks per year.
We are looking to recruit a part time Housekeeper to deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
The successful candidates will ensure that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team. They will identify and report damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
We are seeking to cover 18 hours per week throughout the year (including school holidays) however we can be flexible and agree a working pattern to suit you - this can be discussed in more detail should you be invited to interview.

Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
If you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
