Job summary
To carry out routine electrical works including vehicle preparation and the fitting of electronics equipment to standard defined by the Motor Vehicle retail and Repair Industry with the minimum of supervision.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To undertake electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles. Including towbars, lightbars, camera equipment, side minder systems, hand wash units, split charge systems and inverters
To undertake training as may be required and product training by consultation
To carry out work within a realistic time, be this time either manufacturers, locally negotiated or a combination of both agreed schedules of work
Person Specification
To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
It will be necessary to work with information technology and associated systems in accordance with the Company Policies
To co-operate with the Company in complying with relevant Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties post
To carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post in compliance with the Companys equal

To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibilities of the post
