SW 4835: Project Manager
Salary: £30,000
Location: Dartford
My client is looking for a Project Engineer to work on a demolition project in the Dartford area. The position is site based and the successful candidate would liaise with their site management team under the direction of our Demolition Director producing detailed method statements, hazard & risk assessments and lifting plans for various demolition activities and assist with the formulation of programmes for the individual site(s).
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading as appropriate to ensure that projects are effectively planned, managed and successfully delivered, contributing to the overall success of the wider project, whilst ensuring compliance
- Planning, prioritising, co-ordinating, contributing to and facilitating: meetings, visits, and other initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the project
- Responsible for detailed Method Statements
- Hazard and Risk Assessments
- Lifting plans for various demolition activities
- The formulation of programmes for each site worked on
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous PM experience preferably from a building engineer or civil engineer background
- SMSTS and CSCS
- Competent with Word, Excel, and Project. Microsoft Vision would also be an advantage
- A H&S qualification would be desirable (NEBOSH General, Construction or both)
- Great communication skills
- Your own transport as you may be required to assist on other sites in the Kent and Essex area
