Job Details
The Chauffeur will be responsible for driving the Chairman of a Group of Companies to and from business meetings, functions, dinners, sporting events and airports. The Chauffeur will also provide driving duties for the Chairman’s wife and family as required and will be expected to be available outside normal business hours. In addition, the role will require valeting family vehicles, taking them for MoTs and performing other general tasks to support the family.
Applications from ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the Chairman`s driving duties professionally and in line with all current legal guidelines
- Ensure that all errands for the Chairman both internally and externally are made on time and in a courteous manner according to the stakeholder/customer expectation
- Delivering a prompt and professional service
- Adherence to the company security policy at all times
- Ensure that company vehicles are always kept clean and tidy
- Provide ad hoc assistance to the Facilities Department as required
- Provide support as required by the Directors from time to time
- Provide support as required to the Chairman and Directors in support of business continuity
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service and communication skills
- Be able to work outside of normal business hours to include weekends on occasions
Person Specification:
- Strong administrational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Clean driving licence
- Self-motivated
- Punctual
- Institute of Advanced Motorist (or equivalent) qualification
