An exciting opportunity has become available to work for a global leading service provider to the pre-press and digital wide format inkjet printing industry. The field service engineer will work on some of the printing industries very latest large format digital printing equipment.
Applications from ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.
You will be embedded into the customers site based in Milton Keynes and be required to undertake installation and maintenance of the large printing equipment.
Depending upon the level of experience, you will predominantly be shadowing other engineers for the first few months whilst attending and completing certifications to work on and install their manufacturer’s equipment. You will also undergo various training modules over the period of approximately 12 months.
The successful candidate will have a strong industrial level electro mechanical background but will also need to have a good understanding of Computers, Software, Fault Finding and Electronics.
Travelling to other sites maybe required throughout the UK and overseas to visit clients and attend training sessions in Europe/Middle East/Africa
