This is a fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to enhance individual skills and knowledge and to be part of a friendly team.
You will report to and support the Owner and drive profitability through ensuring diners and guests have the best experience possible at every single touch point, service, food and ambiance.
You will manage enquiries, reservations, pre-orders, group bookings, allergy requirements etc.
You will organise the team, create and manage table plans and stock availability.
You will be a key holder, cash up and other end of day routines.
You will deal with customer complaints and customer ad hoc requests.
Knowledge and Skills:
As Restaurant Manager you will need experience of working in a food and beverage outlet together with a passion for customer excellence.
Knowledge of wines would be a distinct advantage. Cocktail experience would very useful.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect customer experience every time.
You should possess ambition to continually drive the business forward.
You should have a love for food and great drink knowledge.
You will love working in a fun but challenging environment and seeing a job well done.
You will enjoy working as part of a team but also leading and mentoring others
You will be a great communicator, well organised and able to plan ahead.
You will be an excellent team player and leader who can respectfully communicate to the team.
You should have some financial understanding and of controlling costs and stocks.
You will have good knowledge of hygiene and health and safety.
You should possess a lot of stamina/energy to keep up to speed during occasional hectic spells of business.
You should have a desire to aim for high standards.
You should be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and passionate in your work.
You should have good pc skills particularly Excel.
Standard working week is 5 days on, 2 days off and working a Sunday evening on a one in three rota.
What`s on Offer?
Basic salary around £14,500 basic upon a 35 hour week but with overtime, tips - worth around £80 per week and bonus , your earnings will be around £21,500 per annum.
In addition you have a minimum of 20 days holiday plus bank and public holidays, auto enrolment pension, life cover, free meals whilst on duty, staff discount at other times.
