Job Role
A General Manager is required by a large franchised dealership in Torbay, Devon. The successful candidate should be an energetic, dynamic individual who is able to lead and motivate a large number of staff ensuring that the high standards set by both the group and manufacturers are upheld, whilst maintaining and improving the targets for both sales and service departments.
You should already have experience at GM level within the franchised Motor Trade and must be used to dealing with large numbers of both new and used cars and possess the ability to make an immediate and sustainable impact in the dealership as well as recruit, train and motivate the staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintaining sales turnover
- Profitability
- Maintain or exceed performance against targets
- Considerable experience of implementing, and contributing to policy and strategy
- Site management including FM, IT, Security and H&S
- Exceeding customer expectations and satisfaction
- Recruitment and retention of staff
Essential Skills
- General Management experience from an Automotive background
- Preferably from a multi-site, multi-franchise set up
